Cardiology Research Nurse – Emergency Services Joining Northern Health’s Cardiology Research Team as a dedicated Research Nurse who advances cardiovascular care through clinical research. About the Role The Cardiology Research Nurse coordinates cardiology clinical trials within the Division of Emergency Services, provides high‑quality nursing care to participants, and ensures all research activities comply with ICH‑GCP, TGA, and NHMRC guidelines. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative, evidence‑based clinical trials that improve patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Coordinate cardiology clinical trial processes, including protocol implementation, participant recruitment, data collection, monitoring visits, and regulatory reporting. Deliver high‑quality nursing care to trial participants, ensuring safety, support, and adherence to trial protocols. Maintain ICH‑GCP, TGA, and NHMRC research standards and documentation integrity. Collaborate with investigators, clinicians, research staff, and external partners to support trial objectives. Required Qualifications Registered Nurse (AHPRA) registration and current practice. Previous experience in clinical trials, ideally within a cardiology or acute care setting. Strong understanding of ICH‑GCP, TGA, and NHMRC research standards. Demonstrated ability to manage clinical trial processes, documentation, and data integrity. High attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
