As an (Senior) Account Executive in Kainos, you will be responsible for building Kainos’ new business by forging into new accounts, based on building an extensive network of industry contacts. You will work collaboratively with the sales & business development team as well as colleagues from delivery, legal, marketing and operations. Key Responsibilities Develop Kainos as a business – build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities using a combination of new and existing accounts (where applicable). Forecast accurately across future quarters to achieve sales targets and maintain predictability of future revenue. Put deals together that meet sales, revenue and profitability objectives and align with Kainos’ strategy and goals. Act as a trusted advisor to customers using a consultative selling approach, understanding challenges and opportunities with empathy, active listening, responsiveness, and creativity. Lead prospects through the full customer lifecycle by applying effective project methodologies to achieve outcomes, assess prospect maturity and business needs to position products and services strategically, driving long-term partnerships. Leverage the sales toolkit to drive trust and impact across the services sales cycle (pitch, scoping, high-level demo, negotiations, and legal coordination). Develop and strengthen partnerships to position Kainos as a go-to partner that continually adds value. Negotiate and manage senior stakeholders, presenting and refining proposals to achieve outcomes for Kainos. Act as an external Kainos ambassador, embracing and promoting the culture, values and behaviours. Work as part of a team on B2B enterprise deals, collaborating with cross-functional teams and industry partners to maximize opportunities. New Business Development: identify, research, and engage target organisations to open new accounts, build relationships with key stakeholders, run tailored outreach campaigns, and maintain strong pipeline coverage for net new revenue growth. What We Are Looking For Strong Workday domain knowledge or ERP Based in Sydney or Melbourne Proven track record of delivering against targets (quarterly and annually) Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly at all levels, including executive and C-level Excellent writing and presentation skills with the ability to deliver value-based proposals Strong networking skills and ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders Broad technology experience and awareness of technology trends and their impact on projects Solid understanding of digital services concepts and ability to position products and services against competitors Ability to work in a competitive, high-pressure environment and make sound decisions for Kainos Ability to plan and meet deadlines to meet business requirements Good negotiation skills, both commercially and contractually Willingness to be coached in services sales cycle areas (e.g., deployment and/or integrations workshops) Nice To Have Knowledge of IT business development processes and contract experience Understanding of technology delivery and agile methodologies Embracing our differences At Kainos, we believe in diversity, equity and inclusion.
