Who we are The Digital Business Division (DBD) provides retail digital services for export and biosecurity in the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. DBD is committed to making it easier for people and businesses who export Australia’s valuable products, while helping keep Australia safe by reducing biosecurity risk. Partnering with industry, we co-design and deliver user-centred solutions aimed at improving the customer journey and making it simpler to undertake cross border trade. Incorporating the Take Farmers to Market (TFTM), the Simplified Targeting and Enhanced Processing System (STEPS) programs, Digital Systems, Solutions & Sustainment (DSSS) and Enterprise Data, DBD’s purpose is to deliver the important digital business and service reforms for the Department. DBD is at the forefront of bringing about large-scale change to our agricultural export and bio-security systems, drawing on customer and stakeholder experience to deliver digital transformation. DBD’s work supports departmental, ministerial and whole-of-government priorities which will continue to support Australia economic recovery from COVID-19. The Digital Business Division Procurement Team The Digital Business Division Procurement Team provides procurement and contract services for TFTM, STEPS programs, DSSS and Enterprise Data. The Job Key duties for this position include, but are not limited to: assist with the onboarding and offboarding of identified personnel, ensuring all compliance, process and systems checks are completed in accordance with departmental procedures act as a key point of contact for suppliers and external workers, providing clear communication and a positive and professional experience assist with the management of assets, ensuring the asset register is accurately maintained and up to date build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to provide excellent customer service and support business needs support the administrative process of procuring technical and digital resources for the wider program, including preparing documentation, tracking workflows and maintaining records produce high quality procurement and contract documentation for review and execution, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and Commonwealth requirements contribute to process improvement initiatives across procurement and asset management functions. Please note: The merit pool established through this selection process, which is valid for a period of eighteen months from the date the vacancy was advertised in the Public Service Gazette, may also be used to fill future ongoing vacancies in the branch where the duties are of a similar nature.
