LifeInMotion Exercise Physiology Clinic – Mackay QLD We are seeking a passionate and organised Allied Health Assistant/Administration Assistant to join our locally renowned Exercise Physiology Clinic. We’re looking for someone who cares about people and wants to help them improve their quality of life. You will be coachable and ready to learn through this combined role that supports both our clients and our practitioners. Who we are: LifeInMotion is a locally owned and operated Exercise Physiology Clinic that has been providing genuine health care to the Mackay and surrounding region for over 15 years. Our purpose is to provide evidenced-based exercise prescription and education to help people achieve their health and well-being goals while ensuring our clinic is a positive, accessible environment for all capabilities. The role: As an allied health assistant/ administration assistant you’ll have the opportunity to work in both sides of allied health. You will deliver evidence-based exercise programs for a diverse range of clients, from those with chronic conditions to those focusing on preventative care and those with sport performance goals. In addition you will assist the reception manager with day to day administration tasks. Responsibilities: Providing education and support to clients on managing their health through physical activity. Collaborating with our Exercise Physiologists to discuss patients progress and goals. Administration tasks including but not limited to booking appointments, answering phones, following up referrals and being the vibrant, energetic face of the business. About you: You're an Exercise Scientist and may be studying Exercise Physiology or have a Cert IV in Allied Health Assistance. You hold CPR & First-aid qualifications (or ability to obtain prior to appointment). You hold a Blue card and NDIS screener check (or ability to obtain prior to appointment). You are eager to learn and want to help people improve their quality of life. You have strong communication skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks. You are empathetic to all walks of life. You are confident working autonomously and as part of a team. You have sound IT skills and previous experience with Nookal practice management software (highly regarded).
