The Role: E&I Technician Reporting to our Supervisors and client Team Leaders, as an E&I Technician you are primarily responsible for executing corrective and preventative maintenance activities for Oil & Gas Facilities and Field assets including remote terminal units, control valves, actuators and positioners. Performing hands on electrical and instrumentation maintenance in a dynamic team, this position will involve isolating live equipment, supporting safety driven operations and contributing to high impact field works. Candidates will ideally have experience in the industry and can demonstrate experience in field servicing will be an advantage. Roster Roster: 15/13 FIFO roster, ex ADL or BNE Key Responsibilities Corrective and preventative maintenance of control valves, actuators and positioners, process instrumentation equipment, RTUs Hazard area inspections Electrical and instrumentation disconnects and reconnects of well site surfaces for work over rig access Completion of all documentation as per site issued maintenance works Shutdown, isolation and start up of engines and pumps. Installation of rotatable or new equipment, Checks of electrical motors, switch rooms, heat tracing, calibration equipment Qualifications and Experience Required Previous O&G Experience preferred but not essential. Trade Qualification and Electrical Licence essential Hold or ability to gain Qld and SA Electrical licenses. Cert III Instrumentation required EEHA Qualification Minimum of C Class Drivers Licence.
