About the role As a Leading Hand / Wash Bay Supervisor at Cutprice Car Rentals, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our car rental facilities in Bilinga, QLD and Tweed Heads NSW. Your primary focus will be ensuring the efficient and smooth running of our rental operations, while also developing and supporting our team of customer service professionals. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a motivated and dependable Lead Hand / Wash Bay Supervisor to help oversee our operations and support our team. Key Responsibilities Supervise day‑to‑day operations and support staff in vehicle preparation, detailing, and customer service. Assist with cleaning and detailing cars to maintain the fleet’s high standard. Conduct vehicle inspections, schedule maintenance, and ensure all vehicles are ready for hire. Lead, coach, and mentor team members to maintain high standards of service and efficiency. Manage rostering, monitor stock levels, and maintain cleaning and operational equipment. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies. Drive the courtesy van for customer pick‑ups and drop‑offs when required. About You Must have a valid full driver’s license. Previous supervisory or team leader experience in car rental, automotive, or hospitality is highly desirable. Experience in car detailing or vehicle preparation is a bonus. Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a positive attitude.
