We are looking for a Cert III qualified person with at least 6 months experience in a similar role to join the Silverchain team in the Moonee Ponds area. What’s On Offer Guaranteed hours and shifts. Award rate $34.59 per hour + Super + paid KM’s. Employee benefits program + salary packaging up to $18,550 tax free each year. Paid CPR and First Aid courses. What We’re Looking For Enjoy having variety in their day. Are passionate about providing an excellent service. Can build positive relationships with clients and their families. Don’t sweat the small stuff; they understand client frustrations and remain calm. Are comfortable working independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask their manager for help. In Addition, You Will Need A valid Australian Driver’s Licence and your own insured, roadworthy vehicle. Certificate III or above in Aged Care, Individual Support or Disability. At least 6 months experience in a similar role that includes personal care, manual handling, hoist training and assisting with medications. The role As a Care Worker you will provide aged care clients with home help services such as: General housekeeping and making beds. Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors. Washing, folding and ironing laundry. Meal preparation and grocery shopping. and personal care services such as: Getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day. Assisting clients to take their medications. Assisting with mobility and therapy goals. Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia. Providing social and emotional support. Providing the client with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments. Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things.
