We are seeking an experienced and talented Head Chef to join our team at Peninsula Village in Umina Beach, NSW. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations and leading a team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our residents and guests. This is a full-time position. What you’ll be doing Manage the daily operations of the kitchen, including assisting with menu planning Develop and implement creative and nutritious menus that cater to the diverse dietary needs of our residents Ensure the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained in the kitchen Lead, train, and mentor a team of passionate chefs and kitchen staff Collaborate with the management team to enhance the overall dining experience at Peninsula Village Foster a positive and productive work environment in the kitchen What we’re looking for Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar senior culinary role cooked chill or large function process experience preferable Formal culinary training and qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery Extensive knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and cost‑effective menu planning Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a kitchen team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with residents, guests, and the management team Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene Passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes that cater to diverse dietary requirements What we offer At Peninsula Village, we are committed to providing a supportive and enriching work environment for our employees.
