Behavioural Therapy Assistant - Underwood For over 20 years the Lizard Centre has been a leader in Applied Behaviour Analysis and early intervention in Australia. We provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental conditions. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Behavioural Therapy Assistant who is available to work with a family in Underwood for 2 sessions per week: Thursday 4:00pm‑6:00pm Friday 4:00pm‑6:00pm Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 therapy to clients in varied settings, including home, clinic, and school. Support clients in developing their communication, social interactions and emotional regulation skills. Collect client data to track progress and identify areas of improvement. Foster a positive environment that encourages client participation. Skills & Experience Studying or a completed degree/certificate in Psychology, Disability, Education, Occupational Therapy or related field (preferred). Experience working with children is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. A passion for helping individuals reach their full potential. Requirements Working with Children Check & NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to obtain). NDIS Worker Orientation Module - "Quality, Safety and You". Australian Driver's License & Vehicle.
