Brush cutting/Working at Heights Team Leader

About the Role As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team to maintain and enhance green spaces on extreme steep slopes across our various council-controlled roadsides and open spaces within Brisbane. This position is ideal for someone who: Enjoys heights Has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in their work. Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently Maintain and perform regular inspections on equipment Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard Complete service requests as required Adhere to safety protocols and procedures Benefits Monday to Friday work schedule with early start and early finish Fixed Term or Casual roles available Vehicle and fuel card supplied Competitive hourly rate Uniform and PPE supplied Ongoing safety training programs and resources available Frequent free team social events Career progression pathways Possibility of overtime in warmer months What are we looking for? Previous experience in brush cutting Must have valid working at heights licence Valid Manual Drivers Licence White Card Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and/or individually Be punctual and reliable Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions ranging from hot summer days to cooler winter months Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards Our Team & Culture We embrace and celebrate diversity, equity, and inclusion.
