As a Casual Barista , you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and high-quality coffee drinks at Good Morning Coffee Trader' in Garbutt, QLD. Our vibrant café is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled barista to join our dynamic team. In this casual position, you will work alongside experienced baristas to deliver a consistent and enjoyable café experience for our customers. What you'll be doing Preparing and serving a variety of specialty coffee drinks, teas, and other café beverages to customer specifications Maintaining a clean and organised workspace to ensure efficient and safe operations Providing friendly and helpful customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons Following standardised recipes and production processes to maintain quality and consistency Assisting with general café duties, such as restocking supplies, light food preparation, and cash handling as required What we're looking for Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role within the hospitality or bar and beverage industry A minimum of 3-6 months barista experience is required for this position Demonstrated skills in preparing and serving high-quality espresso-based coffee drinks Knowledge of coffee bean varieties, roast profiles, and brewing techniques Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation Adaptability and the willingness to learn and develop new skills Either Australian work rights or sponsorship options are acceptable for this role What we offer Competitive casual hourly rate Opportunities for training and professional development Flexible scheduling to accommodate your work-life balance A fun, friendly, and supportive team environment About us Good Morning Coffee Trader' is a vibrant and beloved café in the heart of Garbutt, QLD.
