Deputy Care Manager – Meadows Park Location & Working Hours Location: Meadows Park, Louth Hours: Full-time, 42.5 hours per week (Day shift) Work Location: In-person Commute Requirement: Reliable commute to Louth or relocation before starting (required) Responsibilities Ensure that the standards of care delivered to residents and records are maintained. Provide appropriate induction, training and support to employees to fulfill job duties. Assist the Registered Manager with all compliance audits. Lead the team; provide leadership and management to achieve the highest standards in all areas of the home, including clinical / dementia care. Monitor and control sickness and absence in line with company policy. Assist the Registered Manager with formal supervision / appraisal of staff and ongoing informal assessments of staff performance. Support the Registered Manager to ensure the ongoing financial viability of the service – maximizing occupancy and income and working a two-week rolling rota with alternate weekends and on-call duty. Qualifications & Experience Commitment to achieving the Leadership and Management Award (Level 5) Previous management / supervisory experience Ability to communicate effectively at all levels Availability to participate on duty on call as necessary Ability to ensure adequate staff cover Team player with excellent interpersonal skills Genuine interest in working with the relevant client group Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate staff Capacity to make clinically sound, effective decisions.
