Testing Supervisor – Australian Red Cross Lifeblood Join to apply for the Testing Supervisor role at Australian Red Cross Lifeblood . 3 days ago Fixed Term Full-Time - 76.00 hours per fortnight until 05/02/2027 Varied shifts across a rotating roster - Monday to Sunday Yearly salary between $100-$120K + Penalties (if applicable) + Super + Salary Packaging and more Sydney Processing Centre About The Role An opportunity to grow through a supervisory role, overseeing the testing team within the Melbourne Processing Centre. You'll ensure the required production outcomes are being met by effectively delivering the production schedule and managing resources and workflow within the production environment. Ultimately, this will lead to the efficient and timely supply of blood and blood products within a culture of service excellence. You will be based at our Processing Centre on a rotational roster between Monday – Sunday across a range of shifts between 5:30am to 1.00am. There will be some on-call requirements and the need to work across some public holidays. A Day In The Role Will See You Lead the Testing team to deliver core work processes including, but not limited to: Infectious Disease Screening, Blood Grouping and Antibody Screening, Bacterial Contamination Screening, Process Control and Confirmatory testing Manage the performance and review/authorisation of results of screening of blood donation samples Collaborate with other Supervisors to recruit, develop and coach team members Support the Scientific Operations Manager in monitoring and driving operational performance and priorities Maintain and manage the required quality standards to regulatory compliance to meet the Code of GMP and NATA. What we're looking for Demonstrated leadership capabilities in supervising a production team Understanding of using standard operating procedures to perform a range of technical processes Experience with lean manufacturing processes in a regulated production environment adhering to GMP and GLP principles.
