About the role The Assessment Division at NESA manages the moderation of school assessment marks, ensuring they are fair and comparable across all schools in NSW. This role sits within the Assessment Services directorate which is responsible for developing and implementing assessment strategies and programs across the NSW Education System to ensure students meet curriculum standards. It creates quality assessment tasks, marking guidelines, provides feedback to students, and reporting on student achievement to stakeholders like parents. The Data Integrity Officer is responsible for ensuring accuracy and integrity of student entry and result data supplied to NESA for the purpose of credentialing. This role assists high schools across NSW with the collection, processing and validation of their student data relating to Year 10, Year 11 and Year 12 Higher School Certificate (HSC) entries; grades; Life Skills outcomes and school assessment mark. On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for : Providing advice and support through phone calls and email correspondence to support NSW schools in order to complete their student data submission requirements. Also providing support to NSW senior students using the NESA dedicated web portal. Assisting and collaborating team members with planning and delivery of communications to schools and students relating to data submission requirements. To be successful, you will need: Experience managing and resolving issues in a frontline, customer focused environment Knowledge and experience with prioritisation of meeting deadlines and stakeholder expectations while also maintaining a balance of the needs of staff and unforeseen issues.
