Client Summary Our client is a leading postal logistics company specialising in efficient freight handling and delivery services. They are currently recruiting for a dual role as aFreight Handler & Forklift Operator , where the Forklift operating will only be required as needed. $40 per hour with weekly payment Potentially ongoing and perm opportunity for the right candidate Morning shifts starting at 6am Dynamic and fast-paced work environment About the role As a High Freight Handler/Forklift operator, you will be responsible for the following: Unloading and loading trucks, trailers, and containers Operating a Counterbalance forklift occasionally Working in a timely manner to meet operational demands Using RF scanning devices for inventory management Operating manual pallet jacks safely and efficiently Lifting products up to 30kg Having a high level of attention to detail when reading labels. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment To be Successful, You Will Possess the Following Be willing to participate in the Physical & Drug assessment located in Sunshine West Experience in the logistics or postal industry (desired) Physically fit, able to lift up-to 30kg whilst working in a fast-paced environment.
