Job Description What you get to do in this role Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.) Work with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality product to our users. Design software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite Integrate automated testing into development workflows to ensure consistent quality across releases. Participate in design and code reviews ensuring best practices in performance, maintainability, and testability. Develop comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, integration and performance aspects Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement by sharing best practices in engineering and quality. Promote a culture of engineering craftsmanship, knowledge-sharing, and thoughtful quality practices across the team. Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing Qualifications To be successful in this role you have Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry. 9+ years of overall experiencein ServiceNow and Javascript with preferably 2+ yearsof experience with Cloud infrastructure technologies like GCP/Azure/AWS. Passion for JavaScript and the Web as a platform, reusability, and componentization. Experience with any of the modern UI frameworks like Angular, React or Vue Experience in provisioning, deploying applications or services in Cloud environments and integrating with Cloud infrastructure modules and APIs. Comprehensive understanding of containerization, cloud technologies and distributed computing paradigms. Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Jest, Selenium, TestNg) and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines Understanding software quality principles including reliability, observability, and production readiness. Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and optimize performance across the stack. Experience with AI-powered tools or workflows, including validation of datasets, model predictions, and inference consistency. Comfort with development tools such as IDEs, debuggers, profilers, source control, and Unix-based systems Ability to manage projects with material technical risk at a team level. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on design and building reusable, scalable components. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with global teams. Certifications in cloud technologies or AI is a plus. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
