iOS Engineer Duration: Assignment Until June 2026 + Possibility of extension Location: Melbourne (Onsite) Green Light Worldwide has a requirement with our client partner for an iOS Engineer to join their team until June 2026 + possibility of extension. As an iOS Engineer, you’ll design and build high‑performance native applications that empower users to seamlessly interact with critical mobility and infrastructure services. You’ll work in a collaborative Agile environment that values innovation, user‑centric design, and engineering excellence. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deliver performant and scalable iOS applications using SwiftUI and UIKit. Implement robust data flows leveraging Combine, Swift Concurrency, and MVVM architecture. Build intuitive and accessible interfaces that adhere to Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) and modern UX principles. Integrate mapping and location‑based services (CoreLocation) to enable advanced mobility features. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams – including designers, backend engineers, and product owners – to deliver seamless end‑to‑end experiences. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth deployment, testing, and monitoring processes. Support production environments through structured troubleshooting, incident response, and continuous improvement practices. Required Skills & Experience Strong proficiency in Swift, with in‑depth knowledge of SwiftUI, UIKit, and concurrency. Hands‑on experience with Combine or other reactive/functional programming frameworks. Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns (especially MVVM). Experience implementing location‑based services and accessibility design standards. Exposure to Agile and DevOps delivery environments. Proven ability to diagnose, debug, and resolve production‑level issues effectively. Familiarity with tools such as GitHub, Figma, Jira, Confluence, and Xcode. Nice to Have Experience working in mobility, infrastructure, or consumer digital services domains. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
