You can learn more about us here: About The Role Trideca is on the lookout for a Senior iOS Engineer to join our growing mobile team and help build high-performing, user-centric mobile applications. This project is partnering with an Australian giant in the health space, and will combine technical innovation with elegant design, all while contributing to scalable solutions that deliver real impact. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI. Ensure compliance with Apple Human Interface Guidelines (HIGs) and accessibility standards. Deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable mobile solutions aligned with business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless and intuitive iOS experiences. Translate user and business requirements into clear technical solutions. Implement and maintain automated unit and UI testing frameworks. Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and knowledge-sharing activities. Create and maintain technical documentation to support ongoing development and support. Follow change control, version control, and configuration management best practices. Assist in testing phases including system, integration, and UAT. Stay current with iOS development trends, tools, and platform updates. Ensure compliance with information security standards and internal policies. Support the business with PHI compliance obligations and frameworks. Identify and communicate any compliance-impacting changes in your area of work. Contribute to post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a strong focus on user experience, performance, and reliability. Essential Requirements Proven experience in iOS app development with strong skills in Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI. Solid understanding of Apple UX principles and HIGs. Experience working with RESTful APIs, version control systems (GIT), and documentation tools (Jira, Confluence). Demonstrated capability in test-driven development (TDD), CI/CD, and building high-quality, scalable solutions. Strong understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design. Experience in agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements, particularly in regulated environments such as healthcare or finance. Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Ability to manage and elevate risks or issues in a timely and appropriate manner. Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
