We believe that we can improve health outcomes by involving our community in the planning and evaluation of their local health services.About you:You are an experienced Administration Manager with demonstrated experience in an ICT program environment, including planning, governance, risk management, reporting, budgeting and project closure, and an ability to analyse, plan, and manage specialised work packages, high-level knowledge and application of appropriate portfolio/project management methodologies including agile methodologies, and an ability to provide expert advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies, and tools. You have proven experience in the implementation of effective digital governance models to support new business and technology platforms and experience in the development and adoption of digital health tools, processes, and technologies to drive and monitor digital healthcare innovation and transformation.Your opportunity:The Mental Health and AODS (MHAODS) Digital Technology Manager is responsible for managing the development, delivery, business, change and governance activities of digital technology within the MHAOD service.The role will ensure the successful creation, implementation, and delivery of digital health initiatives and programs of work such as an integrated, real time whole of service electronic patient journey board solution, in alignment with CHHHS and Queensland Health strategic directions.The role will represent the MHAODS digital technology portfolio and establish and maintain stakeholder relationships, providing a point of contact for coordinating key activities that contribute to patient centred care and business outcomes through digital technology.Your role:Take responsibility for enacting strategies that supports a work-based culture that promotes and supports education, learning, workforce development, safety, and quality.Deliver a MHAODS digital strategic plan, providing change management, project management, and project support services. Provide advice, communication, and engagement to support and manage the delivery of service improvements.Provide quality advice to the MHAODS Service Director, Leadership team, and other stakeholders on digital strategy and implementation, including approaches to ensure the successful design and delivery of the programs of work within MHAODS.Manage the risks within the digital strategic plan and implementation activities, including monitoring of risks and identification of potential problems, development and implementation of risk management plans, risk mitigation strategies, and quality assurance mechanisms to support the safe systems and information management requirements.As a Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service employee, not only will you receive competitive remuneration, you will also have access to:Salary packagingAnnual incremental increasesCareer training and developmentWellness programsVaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD)
