About the role The Software Developer will contribute to the development and maintenance of technical platforms across the various applications, with the primary objective of ensuring that solutions consistently deliver reliable, secure, and efficient digital services for the organisation. About the team The Platform Services team looks after the development of corporate and high performance applications in the ASC. We are a collaborative team with a growth mindset and seek to improve government and sport sector information and services. About you Essential Criteria: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or possess related experience. Proven experience in application development and customisation. At least some experience in one or more of the following: Front-end frameworks such as React, JavaScript, TypeScript, GraphQL and Next.js. Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, TypeScript, Java and Python. Knowledge of database design and SQL. Customising SharePoint. Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Desirable Criteria: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the industry. Hands‑on experience with cloud application development using platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. Hands‑on experience with ERP systems. Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
