Teacher – Technologies Apply to join the Department of Education, Western Australia as a Teacher – Technologies. Role Eaton CC is seeking passionate and dedicated relationship‑focused educators to join our Technologies Teacher Pool. We welcome applicants with strengths in one or more of the following areas: Materials Technologies – Wood Materials Technologies – Metal Food Specialisation Food & Fibre – Caring for Children Applicants should be innovative practitioners who work well in collaborative teams and provide students with purposeful, engaging learning experiences that build practical skills, knowledge and an appreciation of Technologies. Suitable applicants will ideally be able to design and deliver high‑quality teaching and learning programs that meet the diverse needs of students from Years 7 to 12. Strong knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum, experience with Senior Secondary courses, and holding a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment are highly desirable. Suitable applicants would build respectful, positive relationships with students, creating learning environments where every student feels valued, supported and capable of achieving success. They will ideally design engaging, hands‑on learning opportunities that ignite curiosity, promote problem‑solving, and enable students to thrive in both practical and theoretical aspects of Technologies. Key benefits: Temporary Attraction and Retention Incentive of $2,000 12 percent employer contributions to superannuation 12 weeks' vacation leave (school holidays) Free relocation Teachers and School Administrators employed at Eaton Community College in 2026 are eligible to receive a temporary Attraction and Retention Incentive of $2,000 (pa, gross – to be adjusted pro rata for FTE and tenure). Eligible staff will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at the school, with the remainder paid at the end of the school year. Staff must remain employed in the location until the end of the school year to be eligible to receive the second payment. The temporary ARI payment is in addition to other incentives that may apply in this school. Mobility Appointments Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school*, may elect to undertake this role as a three‑year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position. At the cessation of the three‑year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school. Note that south‑west teachers are not eligible to move to another south‑west school under this trial.
