Lead Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our client’s Program Management Office, supporting delivery teams across the project lifecycle under the Digital Delivery Framework (DDF) and Golden Thread. This critical role will focus on providing specialist Business Analysis support to priority projects and actively contributing to the professionalisation and uplift of the organisation’s Business Analyst capability. Responsibilities Short-Term Project Support: Provide targeted business analysis support to projects requiring short-term engagement. Conduct requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation. Support testing and engineering coordination, including test planning and execution support. Contribute BA input to project coordination artefacts (e.g., schedules, RAID logs). Facilitate workshops, stakeholder engagement sessions, and contribute to solution design and delivery planning. Chapter Professionalisation Activities: Contribute to the development and refinement of Benefits Management, Requirements Management, and Testing/Engineering Coordination approaches, frameworks, processes, and tools. Assist in building BA capability through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and upskilling initiatives. Support the uplift of Service Management capability. Key Skills & Experience Essential: Demonstrated experience as a Senior Business Analyst in complex project environments. Strong understanding of business analysis practices (e.g., BABOK), including requirements management, benefits realisation, and testing/engineering coordination. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to work flexibly across both ICT delivery and business uplift contexts. Desirable: Familiarity with Service Management principles and frameworks (e.g., ITIL). Collaborative and proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
