About the Role We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Tribe, the foundation that powers everything from Leonardo’s AI generation features to enterprise APIs and mobile experiences. A­ DevOps engineer embeds directly within product squads to deliver new features quickly and safely, while leading core platform work that keeps our systems reliable, secure, and efficient. This includes evolving infrastructure standards, improving tooling, and strengthening everyday DevOps practices that help teams ship software with confidence. What You’ll Do Build and scale infrastructure across AWS, GCP, GCore, and Cloudflare to support hybrid systems powering AI workloads. Support GPU optimization by scaling and tuning GPU infrastructure for AI model training and inference to improve speed, reliability, and efficiency. Improve CI/CD pipelines by collaborating with senior engineers to enhance pipelines, simplify deployments, and boost developer velocity. Strengthen observability by improving monitoring, alerting, and incident response to provide clearer visibility and faster recovery. Contribute to integration projects with Canva engineers and the Platform team to align infrastructure systems and adopt shared tooling. Uphold DevOps best practices by maintaining documentation, reusable standards, and workflows that keep systems stable and scalable. Keep learning and sharing by participating in DevOps Guilds, deep dives, and innovation sessions that explore new tools and AI-driven automation. Skills We Love Experience with AWS services such as ECS, EC2, S3, and IAM; exposure to multi‑cloud environments like GCP, GCore, or Cloudflare. Practical experience using Terraform or other Infrastructure-as‑Code tools to manage and automate infrastructure. Familiarity with building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines in a collaborative engineering environment. Strong understanding of Linux, containerization, and cloud networking fundamentals. Clear and thoughtful communicator who documents work and shares knowledge openly. Collaborative teammate who enjoys problem‑solving and helping others succeed. Curious, adaptable, and eager to explore new tools, technologies, and approaches. Bonus: Interest or experience with GPU infrastructure or AI-driven automation.
