About the role If you are an experienced workshop coordinator looking to take the next step into a Workshop Managers role, then this is the job for you. We are also interested in existing Workshop Managers who are looking to move to a new stable supportive business. This is an exciting role within the Hallam Workshop. This position is responsible for assisting the Workshop Manager by coordinating parts, shipping, supply quotes, administration, contract management & onsite access to free up the time of the above mentioned managers. Experience with rotating equipment is desirable however if you have a great can‑do attitude then we want to hear from you. The key functions for this role are as follows: Assist Workshop manager with coordination of day to day operation of Melbourne workshop. Onsite supervision of Workshop team. Also being hands on for all site works. Assist Workshop manager to co‑ordinate production in workshop and onsite. Assist Workshop manager with preparation of quotations. Ensure quoted delivery lead times are achieved. Ensure work is done as per quotation including quoted hours. Ensure the quality of all works completed by workshop team. Ensure stock levels are maintained to enhance optimal production efficiency. Hands on assistance in workshop. Including all aspect of workshop works. Assist Workshop manager to determine and co‑ordinate the human and material resources needed. Assist Workshop manager with submission of all paperwork to head office. Documenting and recording job details in job files and shared drives including pictures. Manage and conduct stock counts as required. Comply with, and comment to improve, Rezitech OHS policy. Compliance with environmental standards and regulations. Assist Workshop manager with maintenance of in house equipment. Skills and experience Capable of using all Microsoft programs. Excellent communication and experience with dealing with customers as well as suppliers. Good understanding of warehouse/engineering workshop and distribution processes. Hands on ability/Trade assistant ability. Strong focus on quality/continuous improvement. Forklift licence is desirable but not necessary. Capacity to deal with uncertainty. Demonstrated ability to multitask and problem solve across an organisation of similar size and scope. #J-18808-Ljbffr
