About You Technical Skills & Experience Required Minimum 7+ years’ experience in service delivery within the heavy industrial, energy, or HVAC sector. Trade qualified in mechanical, electrical, or engineering disciplines. Dual trade capability highly preferred, reflecting strong hands on technical depth. Prior experience working with energy abatement technologies and thermal systems. Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated experience managing service agreements, budgets, margins, and contract performance. Familiarity with job logging platforms, SharePoint, ERP systems, and digital service workflows. Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel across NSW, plus interstate travel at least once per quarter. Ability to lead and support site works, troubleshoot technical issues, and guide in field teams in real time. A strategic commercial mindset, able to influence revenue, margin, cost, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate can roll up their sleeves on site, troubleshoot with technicians, drive field execution standards and then step confidently into the boardroom to shape statewide growth initiatives, report on performance, and influence the commercial agenda. They will set the cultural tone, drive urgency and excellence, and operate as the state level owner of service delivery, financial results, and customer outcomes. Key Performance Indicators Revenue growth and gross margin performance. Team productivity, including utilisation, output, and OTIF (On Time, In Full) delivery rates. Completion vs. scheduled jobs, reducing missed jobs and failed visits. Team safety performance, compliance, and audit outcomes. Effectiveness of process improvement initiatives, system adoption, and operational discipline. Full ownership of P&L drivers relating to service delivery. Responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and margin optimisation.
