About the Role As a Senior Commercial Home and Investment Lending Manager (CHILM) you will be responsible for delivering the business objectives for the Commercial Home & Investment Lending team, mentoring and coaching your immediate team members, and influencing accredited lenders and bankers within the region. You will build strong stakeholder relationships, partner with the Regional Manager Commercial Home Loans and deliver on both strategy and performance targets. Responsibilities Dedicated home and investment lending specialist for mid‑market commercial clients – identify appropriate products and solutions to meet customer needs. Partner with commercial bankers and co‑manage clients to deepen relationships and achieve whole‑of‑wallet objectives. Drive portfolio growth by maximizing customer inflow and minimizing attrition; contribute to retail district performance by outperforming individual targets. Develop strong knowledge of the local market, highlight emerging trends and drive customer and stakeholder referrals. Identify business development opportunities and act as an active referrer to branch network and commercial partners. Embrace change and continuous improvement; lead initiatives across the region. Train and coach other lenders, provide subject matter expertise and workshop complex transactions. Create a feedback loop between leadership and lenders in the region. Provide excellent customer service, listen to feedback and collaborate with business partners to deliver a seamless experience. Qualifications Previous credit experience with deep product and market knowledge. Proven ability to achieve results through relationship sales and customer service. Strong interpersonal skills and track record of building relationships across teams. Strong financial acumen and understanding of different lending structures. Extensive relationship management and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Embraces change and takes initiative to build long‑term reciprocal relationships with stakeholders. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Contributes to a collaborative environment.
