About the Role Role type: Permanent, full time and hybrid As aSenior Commercial Home Investment Lending Manager (CHILM) you will have the responsibility of delivering the business objectives and behaviors as that of a CHILM, and in addition have responsibility to mentor, coach and influence your immediate team members and in need, other accredited lenders and bankers within the region and across segment. The Senior CHILM will typically hold the most intrinsic of our commercial stakeholder relationships within a defined region, including many large and complex groups. Partnering with the Regional Manager Commercial Home Loans, you will jointly own the collective teams’ aspiration, encompassing both the ‘What’ and ‘How’ that the team delivers each year. As a Senior Leader within the Commercial Home Loans business you will be expected to build shared commitment across the region by relentlessly encouraging positivity utilizing a can do attitude, a demonstrable thirst for problem solving and challenging negative sentiments. What will your day look like? You will be a dedicated home and investment lending specialist to the mid-market Commercial client – responsible for identifying appropriate products and solutions to meet your customer’s needs. You will partner with commercial bankers and co‑manage clients to deepen relationships in attaining whole of wallet. You will take a holistic approach, helping customers achieve their home or investment property goals while protecting their financial wellbeing. You will proactively connect customers to other ANZ teams who can further support their goals. You will be a driver of Commercials’ portfolio growth, both by maximising customer inflow and minimising customer attrition. You will contribute to Retail district performance by seeking to outperform against individual target. You will develop strong knowledge of your local market, highlight emerging trends and drive customer and stakeholder referrals. You will proactively identify business development opportunities in the market and be an active referrer of business back into the branch network as well as to our Commercial business partners, by executing on different customer strategies. You will embrace opportunities for change and continuous improvement by developing a deep understanding of the role of other ANZ teams and Leverage, and you will lead improvement initiatives across the region. You will train and coach other lenders and be a go to person to solve complex problems or challenges. You will play a key role in building expert credit capability within your team and have the ability to workshop transactions with other stakeholders and team members in Retail and Commercial. You will be a voice into leadership, creating a feedback loop between leadership and lenders in the region. You will provide an excellent customer service and will listen and act on customer feedback and provide a seamless customer experience in collaboration with your business partners. What will you bring? Previous credit experience with deep product and market knowledge Proven ability in achieving results through relationship sales & customer service Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of developing relationships across teams Strong financial acumen with understanding of different lending structures Extensive relationship management and negotiation skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proactive and shows initiative in building long term reciprocal relationships with stakeholders High attention to detail and commitment to quality Contributes to a collaborative environment So why join us?
