Sun Island Tours is a wholesale travel company specialising in the Mediterranean region. This includes destinations like Greece, Turkiye, Cyprus, Egypt, Croatia, Italy, Spain, Portugal & Morocco. We are a family owned and operated business based in Surry Hills, Sydney. About the role Join the Italy team at Sun Island Tours as a full-time Wholesale Travel Adviser. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and curating our range of holiday packages and tour offerings to our customers. As a key member of our reservations team, you'll be able to use your passion and knowledge of Italy specifically (& the Mediterranean region generally) to create unforgettable holidays for our customers. What you’ll be doing Speaking to both retail travel agents and travellers, and booking tours, cruises and other arrangements throughout the Mediterranean or within your target destination. Researching and understanding destinations, sightseeing and cultures to provide authentic and interesting itineraries. Providing exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met. Collaborating with the marketing team to promote products through various channels. Providing feedback and suggestions to improve our product range and processes. What we’re looking for Good destination knowledge of Italy and at least some of the other destinations that we cater to. This may be through previous work in the travel industry selling those destinations, or extensive travel and personal research in those destinations. Basic knowledge of the travel industry and the role of wholesale travel companies within it. Strong customer service skills with an ability to build strong professional relationships with our repeat clients. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Exceptional attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Proficient in using MS Office suite. Passion for travel and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
