What You’ll Learn and Do Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll get the skills and experience to become a well‑rounded tradesperson, including how to: Obtain accurate engineering measurements and prepare freehand sketches to depict information Perform structural welding to meet strict industry standards Carry out welding and thermal cutting using a variety of processes and substances Implement forming and shaping techniques to bring designs to life Monitor quality to ensure all fabrication and welding projects meet the highest standards Why This Is the Opportunity for You By the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll have: A nationally recognised Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding) A strong understanding of structural development and construction that aligns with industry standards and codes The ability to fabricate custom items like toolboxes, stoves, barbecues, pizza ovens, and rotating hoppers The potential to gain credits toward a Certificate IV qualification to take your career even further Who We’re Looking For We’re after motivated, reliable, and safety‑conscious individuals who are keen to learn, love working with their hands, and want to build a solid career in the metal fabrication industry.
