Impact you will have As the Fundraising Manager, Philanthropy and Partnerships, you will be at the heart of the charity's relationship fundraising efforts, leading a team that builds key relationships with major donors, foundations, corporate partners, and planned giving supporters. Your ability to develop sophisticated strategies, cultivate deep connections, and drive the growth of high-value contributions will be central to the charity’s ability to deliver its mission and exciting growth plans. In addition to managing your own philanthropic portfolio, you will also manage and inspire a team of professionals, empowering them to meet and exceed fundraising targets while fostering a collaborative, fun, and high-performance culture. In addition, the role will work closely with the CEO to open doors for new, high-level partnerships, creating opportunities for the charity to expand its network of supporters and corporate partners. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of comprehensive strategies for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major donors, including engaging organisational leadership, board members, and other key stakeholders. Build long-term, sustainable relationships that align with both donor values and the charity's mission, and further develop philanthropic initiatives such as round tables. Create compelling cases for support that articulate impact and the transformational potential of philanthropic investments. Lead a team; mentor, guide, and provide regular performance reviews to ensure the team is empowered and on track to meet its targets. Cultivate corporate partnerships that align with the charity’s goals and create mutually beneficial outcomes. Work with the leadership team to identify new partnership opportunities and strengthen existing relationships. Oversee the development and submission of compelling grant proposals, ensuring alignment with the charity’s mission and donor priorities. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and submit high-impact grant applications. Design and implement planned giving approaches that make legacy giving accessible and meaningful for supporters at various life stages. Work cross-functionally with the Retention and Growth team to ensure that the donor experience is cohesive, aligned, and impactful. Act as a key contributor to the charity’s overall fundraising strategy, participating in regular leadership meetings to ensure alignment of strategies. Skills and Experience Proven success in major gifts, or relationship fundraising, with a successful track record of securing high-value gifts. Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and inspire a team, ensuring collaboration across all functions to meet set goals. Experience using data to inform fundraising strategy and decision making. A demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop fundraising initiatives that support long-term organisational goals. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to build relationships across teams and with senior stakeholders to drive fundraising outcomes. A deep commitment to improving health outcomes, with the ability to inspire and engage potential donors through compelling messaging that aligns with the charity’s mission.
