NT Department of Health – Alice Springs NT Position Professional 2 - Remuneration Package Range $106,626 - $126,803 (including salary $90,204 - $107,554) Primary and Public Health Care Outreach Barkly Tennant Creek One full time ongoing vacancy is available Overview Apply your extensive experience in human nutrition dietetics to deliver specialist program outreach care to clients in the Barkly Region. The Department of Health manages the Northern Territory public health system, operating as one system across 5 regions, providing the full spectrum of essential, quality health services, from health promotion to prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and palliative care across the life course. Responsibilities Deliver high quality, culturally appropriate and effective public Health Dietetic services within NT Health. Prioritise and manage a caseload within a dynamic and evolving work environment. Provide clinical/professional supervision to students and PPHC staff. Contribute to the achievement of unit goals and key performance indicators. Qualifications Degree in human nutrition dietetics. Eligibility for Accredited Practicing Dietitian status with Dietitian Australia. Post‑graduation experience providing high quality clinical public health dietetics services. Demonstrated awareness and understanding of Aboriginal culture. Experience working effectively with clients from diverse cultural and social backgrounds. Well‑developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict‑management skills.
