Role Requirements Motor Vehicle Repair Tradespersons License (Motor Mechanic) Heavy vehicle and systems experience desired but not essential; product training and support provided. MR or HR driver's license (Don't have one? We will help you upgrade your license). Prior experience in hydraulics & pneumatics is desirable. Experience with heavy vehicles is desirable but not required. Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical check, criminal history check and working with children check. About the role Keolis Downer are looking for a Motor Mechanic to join our Maintenance team in the Northern Beaches As a Motor Mechanic for Keolis Downer Maintenance of and repairs to all vehicle mechanical and electrical systems including drive, and driveline, steering, suspension, braking, air, hydraulic, computerized and other associated systems. Rotating roster every 2 weeks, day / afternoon (no night) shift with working hours between 06:00. A range of mechanical, testing and fabricating in order to undertake vehicle maintenance such as diagnostic computers / tools, multimeters, mig, oxy acetylene welding, lifting and materials handling, materials manufacturing, various hand tools. On-road vehicle and fleet support as well as undertaking planned and corrective fleet maintenance.
