As an Insurance and Underwriting Officer, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through the accurate and timely completion of member requests within Service Delivery. These requests include all changes to default insurance cover, general insurance enquiries and changes to tailored insurance cover. This role is responsible for the monitoring of insurance application requirements and the provisioning of quality underwriting through compliance with the Insurer guidelines and standards. You will engage internal and external customers as required and be responsible for effective management of member interactions. This role is available as a 12‑month fixed term or secondment opportunity. About You It goes without saying you’ll be a great communicator with top‑notch interpersonal skills. We’ll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It’s quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too: Demonstrated experience in insurance administration and knowledge of the underwriting process. Sound knowledge of Australian Retirement Trust’s insurance product. High level of numeracy and confident to work with figures. Excellence written and verbal communication skills and the ability to guide members through a range of possible solutions. Experience in coordinating the workflow of others.
