Our client is living in Ballarat with a spinal cord injury and requires support workers to join their team on a casual basis on fixed ongoing bases. Our ideal candidate would receive client‑specific training with stable, consistent hours. Due to the nature and complexity of the client's needs, you will need to have relevant disability experience. An extensive onboarding program will be provided with buddy shifts to help you with your transition. Your key responsibilities Manual handling Personal care Continence management Medication administration Domestic assistance Community access Bladder care Bowel care Light household duties & meal preparation About you To join the team, we are looking for the following skills and experience: Previous experience with a brain injury. Manual handling experience. Personal care experience. Current First aid and CPR. NDIS Screening Clearance. Accredited Manual handling certificate (or willing to obtain). Accredited Medication certificate (or willing to obtain). Minimum Certificate 3 in health care. We are also looking for someone with great communication skills, who works well in a team, has a caring and supportive nature, and is client focused.
