Principal Mechanical Engineer Location: Brisbane (or Moranbah), Queensland – Bowen Basin Overview: As a key member of the BMA Engineering Standards & Systems Team, you will define and enforce the technical standards that keep our operations safe and compliant. You will work closely with site engineering, maintenance and project teams to implement and maintain these standards, and support the BMA Equipment Compliance system through stakeholder coordination and technical updates. Key Responsibilities Provide engineering advice across fixed and mobile plant to operational and project teams. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive operational excellence. Write and maintain technical documents. Lead and participate in risk assessments. Qualifications Mandatory – Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Mandatory – Experience in mining, heavy industry or similar environments. Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills. RPEQ registration (or eligibility to obtain). Working Conditions Based in Brisbane (or Moranbah). 5‑day week, Monday to Friday.
