4d ago , from I-MED Radiology Network Limited Our clinics in Canberra are currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the team. We are happy to accommodate a start date best suited to the successful candidate. The role is a full time position working Monday to Friday , between 7am-10pm across our four clinics in Canberra: Belconnen, Deakin, Woden, and Tuggeranong. Role Overview As a Medical Receptionist , you will be the first point of contact for our patients. Your responsibilities will include: Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures. Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally. Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans. Billing procedures - private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA. Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers. You will also have the opportunity to be trained as a contact centre agent to assist as required: Answering phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally. Booking appointments across our four Canberra clinics.
