The Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team on a part‑time basis . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a Certificate III in Aged Care or Health Services who is passionate about providing high‑quality, patient‑centred care in a supportive and fast‑paced environment. Your Key Responsibilities Assist with patient manual handling using appropriate equipment and aides. Provide support to clinical staff and assist patients on admission to settle in comfortably. Assist with emergency responses as required. Clean and maintain equipment and patient areas in line with infection control standards. Carry out additional duties as directed by the Patient Transport Manager or hospital coordinators. About You You thrive in a busy hospital setting, adapt quickly to changing demands, and consistently uphold high standards of service and professionalism. Qualifications and Experience Certificate III in Aged Care, Health Services, or Care Support (desirable). Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting. Knowledge of infection control, manual handling, and safety procedures. Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills. Currently studying Nursing (Year 2 or 3). Certificate IV in Health Services Assistance.
