Applicants will continue to be considered for future positions across various wards over the next six months. The Position Transport patients to all areas of the hospital in accordance with recommended safe practices (any mode of transport including bed and wheelchair) Transport items to all areas of the hospital in accordance with recommended safe practices e.g.: medications, specimens, blood products Remove clinical care equipment and supplies from discharge rooms as relevant to area of work Strip, clean and restock discharge beds/trolleys/cubicles/bathrooms as relevant to area of work Central ward/department cleaning Assist by answering patient call bells and telephone calls in a timely manner Assist patients - non-nursing duties only e.g.: making tea/coffee, meal tray set up etc Make and tidy patient beds and ensure patient surroundings are clean and tidy With well‑developed communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively and harmoniously within a multi‑disciplinary team environment, commitment to customer service will be a priority. To succeed you will have the ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritise your own workload and demonstrate good organisational skills.
