About the role The primary focus of this role is to provide legal advice as part of Lifeblood's in-house legal team which supports Lifeblood's national operations. This position sits within the Office of the Chief Executive Officer and reports to the General Counsel. It involves significant interaction with internal and external parties, including the Executive Directors, and requires excellent customer and stakeholder relationship management skills. There is one direct report into the position and involves working closely with the General Counsel (including Acting as General Counsel in their absence). The role offers a broad range of corporate and commercial law work, as well as assisting the Board Secretary as required. You will be working collaboratively with other Lifeblood teams, in particular Finance & Corporate, Strategic Transformation & Readiness, Manufacturing & Logistics, Information & Communications Technology and Governance and Engagement. About you The successful candidate will have 7-10+ years PQI in broad commercial and corporate law. In-house experience, or proven in-house secondment experience from a commercial law firm, is required. Your sensible outlook and pragmatic style, together with your strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to quickly immerse yourself in the organisation and deliver significant results. You have proven influencing skills and the ability to juggle a range of competing priorities.
