Tax Manager We're seeking a motivated Tax Manager to join our client, a long‑standing professional services firm based in Edgecliff, Sydney. Responsibilities Provide feedback on performance of direct reports and support junior staff to develop their skills. Assist direct reports to grow and develop in their careers. Manage the ATO compliance program for a director group of clients and liaise with directors on client queries and technical advice. Prepare complex client work – accounting and tax, ensuring compliance with the Income Tax Assessment Act, Corporations Law, Land Tax Act and Accounting Standards. Handle tax department audits, enquiries and correspondence on client behalf in accordance with nominees consent and instructions. Advise nominees of possible investment opportunities for clients in superannuation and the possibility of disability insurance and life insurance when preparing income tax returns. Position Requirements Degree Qualified – Business / Economics / Accounting or similar. CA or CPA designation. Interest in expanding knowledge in FP, Finance and Superannuation. Mentoring and coaching experience to manage team by recognising their strengths.
