We’re currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Administrator to join our accounts team. About the Role As an Accounts Administrator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our accounts department. From processing data and managing accounts payable and receivable, to reconciling bank statements and assisting with operational tasks, your work will help keep our financial processes running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is highly organised, and thrives both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to:) Assist with the management of Accounts Payable , ensuring accurate data transfer from our workflow system to accounting software Support Accounts Receivable , including: Drafting and issuing invoices Following up on aged debt and overdue accounts Addressing client queries to ensure timely payments Draft and maintain cash flow forecasts Reconcile bank and credit card transactions monthly Investigate and resolve discrepancies with a strong attention to detail Respond to supplier queries promptly and professionally Perform general accounting administration and filing Assist with month-end closing activities Contribute to improving data accuracy and processing efficiency Provide support with operational tasks , such as fleet management About You Previous experience in a similar accounts or administration role Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational and time management abilities High attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset The ability to multitask and prioritise effectively A collaborative attitude and the ability to work independently Integrity, reliability, and a positive approach to work About ARA Building Services Kingsgrove, NSW, Australia Looking for More Opportunities?
