The opportunity As the Education Specialist, Learning and Teaching, you will provide expert pedagogical leadership and support across UNSW College programs. You will guide evidence-based curriculum and assessment design, champion best practice in learning innovation, and play a key role in embedding high-quality, inclusive educational experiences for diverse learner cohorts. This role is central to enhancing teaching capability, ensuring academic quality and compliance, and strengthening the College's culture of continuous improvement. Essential Criteria Some essential criteria are: A relevant degree and curriculum development experience in a higher education setting; Demonstrated ability to apply learner-centered, interactive learning and teaching strategies that promote engagement and understanding. Expert knowledge of principles and methods for teaching, curriculum and learning design, assessment design, and the measurement of learning effectiveness; Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of educationally-focused quality assurance processes and a deep understanding of the educational needs of students.
