With the acquisition of a mix of intellectual property and order backlog of legacy FLSmidth, Sandvik and thyssenkrupp Mining Technologies portfolios, such as stackers, reclaimers, ship loaders, car dumpers, train loading stations and conveyors, we are the partner of choice to our customers with our unique selling offering, bringing together the best of more than 200 years of collective knowledge in the Mining and Bulk Materials Handling business.We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join our expanding team.The role will be responsible for:Leading the design and development of the product, ensuring it meets all the current safety standards and is completed within design deadlines.Managing and mentoring a team of specialist engineers.Ensuring the mechanical configuration control, including defining and enforcing configuration control procedures.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components into overall systems.Conducting risk assessments to identify potential challenges and propose effective solutions.Ensuring compliance of all designs with relevant engineering standards and regulationsMaintaining records of all design decisions made during the process.Identification of potential design flaws and providing solutions to improve the design.About you:Bachelor's degree in mechanical or mechatronics engineering or similar.Minimum 4 years of experience in a Lead Mechanical Design Engineering role.Experience in mechanical designProficiency in MicroStation softwareProficiency in CAD software, Inventor-desirable.Experience with Inventor is desiredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines.About usWith our Global headquarters in Wadgassen (Germany), several locations worldwide, Perth and Port Hedland, over 80 years of experience in the planning, design, manufacture, supply and maintenance of materials handling systems, KOCH Solutions offers customized solutions as a full-service provider, optimally tailored to the requirements of our customers.Since September 2023 KOCH Solutions unites various strong brands of our industry under one global umbrella.
