About the role Due to company growth, we are seeking an experienced Estimator / Project Coordinator to join our friendly team in the Widebay. This role is critical in ensuring accurate pricing, smooth project transitions, and strong collaboration across multiple teams. Key Responsibilities Deliver accurate cost estimates and manage tender submissions Conduct final review of accuracy of all quotes Assist in development of procedures to streamline tender process Regularly discuss potential projects with the team and action on leads Liaise regularly with operations teams, technicians, and administration to ensure smooth project handovers and clarity of requirements Monitor project progress post-award to ensure pricing assumptions and scope align with actual delivery Support the coordination of materials, subcontractors, and scheduling as needed to ensure successful project delivery Selection Criteria At least 2 years’ experience in estimating, tender preparation, or estimating preferably within road surfacing / civil experience Basic knowledge of construction to raise questions and provide advice Highly developed communication and interpersonal skillsProficient with Microsoft Office, Excel & Outlook A high degree of initiative, takes ownership of issues and demonstrates a “can do” attitude Ability to prioritise and stay calm under pressure Construction project experience highly desirable Offer to you Remuneration package will be offered to the successful applicant based on skills and experience Supportive and friendly culture Challenging and rewarding role Working arrangements: Flexible, site office + working from home #J-18808-Ljbffr
