Project Lead Digital Futures Part time, fixed term – 12 months – Band 8. Based in Alexandra or available for hybrid arrangements. Murrindindi Shire Council is inviting a Project Lead to advance the Council’s systems and contribute to its strategic digital plans. About This Opportunity In this role you will strategically guide projects aligned with the ICT Strategy and Roadmap. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive process mapping exercises with service owners, ensuring internal processes support the Council’s strategic principles and improve service delivery, operational efficiency and innovation. Responsibilities Collaborate closely with service owners to conduct process mapping and improve internal processes. Assess and implement best‑practice digital solutions in consultation with key stakeholders. Embed customer‑first principles throughout the organisation. Lead strategic digital projects that support the Council’s digital transformation and public engagement. Qualifications Relevant qualifications (desirable) and at least 4 years of experience in digital services and information technology. Advanced written and verbal communication skills; able to produce quality project‑management, procedure and policy content. Demonstrated experience with digital integration of systems and ability to build patches and bridges to overcome gaps. Experience and competence as a trainer, preferably within the IT field. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Demonstrated ability to deliver quality customer service to internal customers and propose service improvements.
