Playground Design Engineer

Join our dynamic team manufacturing bespoke playgrounds, slides and outdoor furniture. Collaborate with our fabricators and bring your designs to life. About the role Full time Dandenong based until May, then Pakenham VIC Develop clients' concept models into fully fabricated play structures Provide detailed information for fabrication including drawings for: laser cutting, tube bending, assembly, painting, installation and transportation About you You will be joining a small and highly skilled team developing outdoor recreational equipment. While your focus will be on drafting and design, you will need to be highly versatile and willing to take on tasks outside of your comfort zone. The ideal candidate will complete 3D models and documentation with a high level accuracy while staying within the delivery timeline. You will go beyond the basics and consider design for manufacture, assembly, transport and installation. They will support our fabricators when questions arise, including visiting local suppliers. Tasks Create fully detailed shop drawings for fabrication Purchase material Co-ordinate with the fabrication team to deliver projects in a timely fashion Skills Highly capable 3D modelling and drafting in SolidWorks Collaborate effectively with a team Work autonomously to complete assigned design tasks Qualifications 2-3 years in a metal fabrication environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
