With our own tech team, strong online presence, and passionate people, we are growing fast and looking for a motivated, highly capable and experienced Warehouse Assistant to join us. We are looking for an immediate start. About the role: This is a permanent part-time position suitable for someone with experience in retail, supermarkets, pick/packing, factory work, or any detail‑oriented and initiative‑based physical role. The role requires you to be self‑starter, physically fit and strong, efficient and well organized, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment working towards deadlines. You will be given autonomy to improve processes and own the role. Please note: You must be able to regularly lift and move up to 25+ kg boxes and products, and be capable/licensed (ideally full unrestricted, P2 accepted) to drive an automatic work van. Hours: 30 hours per week Our team requires the above hours (and assumes all applicants have this availability). If you would like to pitch any weekly alterations, please detail this in your cover letter for consideration. (Note: general operating hours are 7 am – 5 pm Mon‑Fri & 7 am – 3 pm weekends). Pay: Pay: $27.34 per hour, plus Super. Pay rates are above award rate and are commensurate with experience. What you’ll do: Keep our warehouse organised and running smoothly. Unpack, process, and receive stock and deliveries. Coordinate with suppliers and couriers as needed. Support stock control, stock takes, and wastage reduction. Help with flower prep, plant care, and on‑site logistics. Pitch in with general warehouse duties to support the whole team. What you’ll bring: Current Australian driver’s licence (ideally full unrestricted license). Ability to follow, analyse and improve systems and procedures. Exceptional time management skills. Very well organised with high attention to detail. Able to work as a positive and helpful team member and give and receive constructive feedback. Ability to lift heavy buckets to and from shelves (up to 25+ kg daily). General Excel & Google Docs knowledge. Consistent and reliable work ethic. Full Australian working rights to 30 hours per week required. Knowledge of flowers an advantage but not essential (training will be provided). Experience with ordering and costing of stock.
