We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant or Assistant Manager to join our team. What you’ll do Prepare financial statements, income tax returns, and general-purpose reports for various entities and industries. Conduct tax research and handle general tax administration tasks, including GST, PAYG, BAS, and IAS preparation. Service a diverse client base, resolving issues and addressing individual client needs. Perform journal adjustments, reconciliations, and supporting work papers for clients’ accounts. Be experienced in Xero, MYOB, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Supervise and mentor a team of junior accountants, providing guidance, support, and training as required. Participate in professional development activities to stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and changes in accounting standards. What you’ll bring Qualifications and/or professional accreditation in a relevant discipline such as Business/Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. CA or CPA qualified. Proven experience in supervising and leading a team, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance work environment. Demonstrated professional experience in business and tax advisory within a public practice setting. Professional, client‑focused, and invested in developing into a trusted business advisor. Excellent prioritisation, attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills with the ability to adapt in high‑pressure situations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner.
