Specialist FDV & Sexual Violence Service | Women Are you a compassionate, skilled counsellor looking to make a profound difference? Do you want to use your expertise to support healing from family and domestic violence (FDV) and sexual violence within a respected specialist service? We are a not‑for‑profit organisation seeking sessional counsellors (working under your own ABN) to help us respond to growing community need and reduce our waitlist. This is meaningful, specialised therapeutic work supporting: Women experiencing or recovering from FDV and sexual assault Men who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse or sexual assault Children and young people impacted by FDV or child sexual abuse or harmful sexual behaviours What We Offer Flexible sessional work — deliver sessions from our offices or your own practice space The chance to contribute to a specialist service known for trauma‑informed, client‑centred care A supportive team culture committed to reflective practice and professional growth An opportunity to walk alongside clients as they rebuild safety, connection and hope What You Bring Your own ABN and capacity to take on additional clients Relevant counselling, social work, psychology or psychotherapy qualifications Experience working with trauma, FDV, and/or sexual violence A strong commitment to cultural safety, ethical practice and compassionate care The ability to create safe, grounded therapeutic spaces for clients of all ages If you feel called to this work and want to help meet the growing needs of our community, we’d love to connect with you.
