Clinical Nurse Leader - (Registered Community Nurse) As our new Clinical Nurse Leader, you will be the clinical cornerstone of our leadership team. Your primary mission is to ensure our clients receive the highest standard of care, while leading and inspiring our amazing team of nurses and caregivers. You will blend your deep clinical expertise with a passion for building relationships, both with your team and in the wider community. This is a hands‑on role where you will grow our ability to serve the Bayside community. What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like (Key Responsibilities) Lead, mentor, and support our clinical and caregiver teams, fostering a culture of excellence and compassion. Oversee all aspects of employee development, from onboarding to performance reviews. Develop, audit, and oversee all client care plans, ensuring they meet all NDIS, Aged Care, and internal standards. Manage the day‑to‑day clinical operations, acting as the key point of contact for complex care needs. Drive our clinical governance processes, managing compliments and complaints to ensure continuous improvement. Build and maintain strong professional relationships with referrers (hospitals, support coordinators, community partners). Act as an ambassador for Nurse Next Door, clearly communicating our services to help more people in the community access our care. Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand our services and make lives better for more people. What You'll Bring to the Team (Application Criteria) Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with 5+ years of experience. Demonstrated experience in community nursing (NDIS and/or Aged Care). Proven experience in leading, managing, and mentoring a clinical team. Minimum 1–2 years of team leadership and management experience. Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills. A valid driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle. What Will Make You Stand Out Experience in clinical governance, audits, and compliance. A track record of building successful relationships with community partners and referrers.
